Making music with code: Strudel

Strudel is a JavaScript port of Tidal Cycles for live-coding music right in the browser — write patterns, hear them loop and evolve in real time, no install required. The getting-started workshop assumes zero prior JS or Tidal knowledge and walks from a single sound up through sequencing and effects. For a sense of the ceiling once you’re actually good at it, Switch Angel on YouTube performs full live sets this way — worth watching once just to see how far “music as code” can go.
